We are Ashley and Patrick, an Idaho-based couple with a shared passion for outdoor adventure and travel. He enjoys camping, hunting, hiking, and fishing, while she shares those interests and brings an added love for traveling the world, discovering new cuisines, and documenting her experiences through writing.
We met in the summer of 2025 on a dating app called Hinge. Quickly, we bonded over our love for the outdoors and the fact we both like to have fun. He’s originally from SoCal, she’s originally from Michigan but we both found each other in Idaho!
Ashley’s Adventures
I have had many adventures all around the world and in the U.S., but my adventure threshold knows no limit! I don’t want to have any regrets in life but I do want to have most (if not all) of my bucket list adventures fulfilled!
It has been my dream to travel since I was a child (my favorite toy was a globe), and this blog includes my travels from birth to present! Being autistic, travel is my special interest.
My travels have ranged from camping trips, mini-vacays, family trips, backpacking trips, volunteer excursions, and many more to come! I’ve found that the type of travels I enjoy most is adventure and culinary travel.
In addition, I am certified by CIEE in Travel Writing.
Patrick’s Adventures
I have been hunting and fishing since growing up in Ventura, California but I have always felt more like an Idahoan. My travels range from Western U.S. road trips, Alaska, Mexico, and every Hawaiian Island except Oahu.
While I am not as experienced travel-wise as Ashley, but I am very educated when it comes to the outdoors. I have backpacked in the Sierra Nevada, and hike frequently.
In addition, I caught my first fish at four years old and have successfully hunted deer, ducks, and turkey and want to hunt many more. I can share the best places to hunt and fish in the Western U.S., tips for first-timers, and where to find the best outdoor gear.
